Top Comment: A nice follow up story from last year of the classic iPod community successfully preserving all of the iPod clickwheel games. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2025/09/all-54-lost-clickwheel-ipod-games-have-now-been-preserved-for-posterity/ Getting the last couple of games was pretty tough...

Are there any known games lost forever ?

Main Post: Are there any known games lost forever ?

Top Comment: There are lot of lost games https://lostmediawiki.com/Category:Lost_video_games And I imagine many more are lost too, but were so little known as to be forgotten, so no-one knows to look for them and discover they're gone.

Is there a subreddit to find forgotten games?

Main Post:

So I forgot the name of a game I used to play as a child, now I want to go back play it. Is there a subreddit which can help me find this game if I describe it?

What are the best lost games?

Main Post:

Let me explain. By lost games i mean games that never made it to modern systems or digital stores, games that require an old console or a used physical copy.

Reasons can be that the developer abandoned the game or doesn't exist anymore, licensing issues, region lock or something else.

Some of those games are still pretty popular, like the 007 games and some are rarely ever mentioned today, like Lunar 2: Eternal Blue.

What are your forgotten gems?

Top Comment: Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest. Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms. I am the only person I've ever met that has even heard of the games but I rebought a ps2 to get them and play again.
